DESCRIPTION COMPOSITION. PERCOL Joint Sealants, are 2 component, 100% solids, liquid applied, self leveling, rapid curing polyurethane sealants for joint sealing. Three hardness products, 15A, 50A and 80A are available. Thin liquid polymers comprised of equal volume "A: and "B" sides are metered, combined and pumped through the PERCAT Pump. Reacts quickly to forma a flexible joint that recovers from compression and extension.

USES. PERCOL Joint Sealants are for sealing joints in Portland concrete. Typical applications include roads, bridges, highways, airport runways and taxiways, parking structures, driveways, sidewalks, decks, and industrial floors.

BENEFITS. Bonds Without Priming and forms a strong bond to clean, dry, asphalt, concrete, and wood. Positive Sealing expands and contracts with structural movement over a broad temperature range. Fast Curing even at low temperatures. Ready for traffic within 30 minutes of placement at 70 degrees F. All Climate Use. Flexible in all climates over a wide temperature range. Resists the effects of long term weathering. Traffic Bearing. Provides good wear resistance with high traffic loads. Excellent performance from -40 to 200 degrees F. Good Memory. After extension or compression it returns to its original shape with little permanent distortion. Resistant. Resists aromatic and aliphatic solvents, oils, fuels, antifreeze and UV exposure.

SHELF LIFE The shelf life in the unopened container is 12 months. Reseal open drums promptly after use.
Moisture degrades components.
APPLYING JOINT SEALING:

Blow out joints to remove dirt and debris.
Sand blast joints to assure good bonding.
Place backer rod evenly to appropriate depth to create joint depth no greater than width
Fill joint with PERCOL Joint Sealant level to deck surface.
Ready for traffic within 30 minutes of placement at 70 degrees F. ambient temperature.

CURE

PERCOL Joint Sealants cure by combining equal volumes of "A" and "B" components. Reaction is much to fast for hand application. Products must be machine applied. Materials solidify within 10 minutes, and can be opened to traffic in 30 minutes at 70 degrees F. Cure is temperature dependent. Low temperatures extend cure time.

EQUIPMENT The PERCAT Vari-Flo pump proportions, pumps, mixes, and dispenses PERCOL Joint Sealants. Flow rate is adjusted by an rheostat near the dispensing tip.
