PERCOAT is not a significant skin or eye irritant. Nevertheless,
skin or eye contact may lead to sensitization. Appropriate protection is
necessary. Gloves and safety glasses are required for handling PERCOAT.
Wash hands before eating, drinking or smoking after handling PERCOAT.
Sandblast or shot blast surfaces. Dry wet surfaces.
Moist surfaces create weak bond and foaming.
"B" component contains pigments that settle. Shake
vigorously to disperse pigment in "B" component. Proportion "A" and "B"
components in equal volume. combine "A" and "B" and mix thoroughly for
about a minute. Components are chilled prior to application to slow reaction
and increase working time. Working time is about 6 minutes at 750
F. Apply to concrete deck quickly to extend
working time. Energy of the reaction is absorbed by the concrete slowing
the reaction. Caution: Do not apply In areas of high humidity.
Pour mixture on floor and even out with a squeegee. Back-roll
with a short-napped roller to smooth coating. Apply thin (about 4
to 5 mils per pass). For a textured coating, cover first coating
with 50 mesh sand to refusal. Remove excess sand after about an hour. Cover
with a thin coat of PERCOAT, followed by a second coat in about another
hour. Application temperature 250 0
C to 40 0 C
(14 0 F to 104 0
Wait one hour minimum at 75 0F.
before subjecting to light loading or traffic. For full service, cure at
least two hours at 75 0F.
Cold temperatures slow cure. At 55 0 F,
three hours cure is needed before light traffic, and 6 hours for full traffic.
PERCOAT shelf life is one year
when stored indoor, unopened under cool & dry conditions.
Dispose empty pails in accordance with all local, state and

In case of a liquid spill of unmixed materials A & B
absorb spilled material with sawdust or other absorbent, sweep into a waste
container, neutralize with decontamination solution (95% water, 5% ammonia,
2% detergent) and store open container outdoors for a minimum of 24 hours.
Dispose neutralized waste in accordance with federal, state, and local
government environmental regulations.
