GEOWEB Roadside Ditches Replace Expensive Rip Rap
Drainage ditches and stormwater swales designed with the GEOWEB® system can replace costly rip-rap with less expensive, smaller aggregate, or lower-maintenance vegetation. GEOWEB® roadside ditch protection is effective in continuous low-flow channels as well as high-flow intermittent channels. With an overlying TRM, GEOWEB® vegetated channels can withstand velocities as high as 30 ft/sec (9m/sec).
