Pressure Sensitive Tape – 20 Mil Single-Sided Seam Tape

Pressure Sensitive Tape is a 20 mil, single-sided seam and repair tape engineered for medium- to long-term geomembrane and construction film applications. Designed to maintain adhesion under elevated temperatures and moisture exposure, this tape provides reliable performance in demanding field conditions.

Its aggressive adhesive system forms a permanent bond once applied and is not easily removed from adhered substrates.

Designed for Elevated Temperature & Moisture Exposure

Unlike some seam tapes that soften or degrade under heat or humidity, Pressure Sensitive Tape maintains bond integrity when exposed to:

• High ambient temperatures

• Solar heat gain on dark liners

• Condensation

• Intermittent moisture exposure

• Humid environments

This makes it suitable for above-grade liner systems and projects where environmental exposure is expected.

Single-Sided Configuration for Surface Sealing

As a single-sided tape, this product is commonly used for:

• Seam overlay and reinforcement

• Edge sealing

• Surface patching

• Detail work around penetrations

• Temporary containment repairs

• Vapor barrier seam sealing

It is particularly effective when applied over overlapped seams to provide additional surface protection and moisture resistance.

Installation Guidelines

For optimal adhesion:

1. Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and free of dust, oils, or debris.

2. Align tape carefully prior to application.

3. Apply firm, uniform pressure using a hand roller.

4. Pay special attention to edges to prevent lifting.

Adhesion strength increases as pressure is applied and as the adhesive wets out onto the substrate.
