Soil Remediation Liners & Covers

Engineered Geomembranes for Contaminant Isolation and Environmental Protection

Soil remediation—commonly referred to as soil washing or containment remediation—involves isolating and treating soils contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons, heavy metals, and other regulated pollutants. Effective remediation requires geomembrane liners and covers that provide long-term chemical resistance, low permeability, and durability under environmental exposure.

GeoCHEM offers a comprehensive range of HDPE Elvaloy® alloy, LLDPE, and polypropylene geomembranes engineered specifically for soil remediation and containment applications. These liners are manufactured using optimized blends of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), enhanced with Elvaloy® alloy, carbon black, and ultraviolet inhibitors to ensure resistance to chemical attack, stress cracking, and UV degradation.

GeoCHEM remediation liners and covers are suitable for both temporary and permanent remediation systems, including soil stockpile covers, treatment pads, containment cells, and caps. Available in a wide range of thicknesses and panel sizes, these geomembranes support site-specific design requirements, regulatory compliance, and efficient installation.
